17 June – 13 July As part of the Veterans Weekend at Wollaton Park, the Yard Gallery will be showcasing a number of films by local school competition entrants on the subject ‘What is a Veteran? Why should I remember?’ The Yard Gallery will also be hosting a display of items from Wollaton Hall’s 508 Parachute Infantry Regiment Collection. Wollaton Hall & Park: Scene Unseen – Peter Lester
17 July – 7 September Local photographer Peter Lester has spent years photographing Wollaton Hall and Park. The images in this exhibition are a photographic record of aspects of the site that are not immediately obvious, or that have meaning for him. Seen through the lens of a camera, the everyday veneer of a popular
scene disappears and glimpses of the remarkable come into focus.
Visitors will have the chance to buy the artworks featured in this exhibition.
