Born 1969 on The Isle Of Man. Moved to Sunderland in 1990 to study Fine Art. Moved to Nottingham in 1995 to set up a studio. I produce sculptures for exhibition and public art commissions.

 

Although I have worked with many materials, both temporary and permanent, I have a recurring interest in the use of steel. The steel sculptures are refined abstracted structures unified through a use of layered paintwork. I have exhibited my work throughout Great Britain and in New York, Dallas, Vienna and Madrid.

 

I am represented by the Nela Alberca gallery in Madrid. Large scale outdoor commissions include sited sculptures for Warwickshire College, the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and Greenfield Art Centre, County Durham.
