“There are so many ways I’d like to spend my time, so many different directions,
I constantly feel myself being pulled this way, then that. Shop, wash, iron, clean, paint play, cook, friends, art, talk, comfort, eat, sleep, phone, e-mail, telly, swim…relax… ….take a little time, do some ‘crayoning’, do some sticking, splash a bit of colour about, remember, forget, enjoy the colour, layer upon layer, piece by piece, put those fragments of memories down. Do a bit of experimenting, do some art.”
Experimental collage pieces using touchable memories ; dried flowers, leaves etc. Some presented to me by my young son, who knows of my passion for sparkly scraps, feathers and other ‘treasures’. |
