As well as producing her own mainly textile artworks, Hazel involves herself with many arts activities in Lady Bay. 

In 2003 she oversaw the development and completion of the Lady Bay textile map (see below) which was begun by visitors to the Open Studios weekend working with visiting artist Clare Satow.  

Hazel is one of the group of artists who has led the Short Shoots film course and is a regular artist practitioner at Lady Bay School. 

At the 2004 Open Studios Weekend, Hazel will be one of a team of artists running the Stixx workshop.
