Lady Bay Open Studios became a constituted, membership organisation in March 2003  formed from Lady Bay Studio Group which has run, less formally, its annual open studio event since 1997.

Aims

The aim of Lady Bay Open Studios is, in the Lady Bay Area, to involve local people in contemporary arts practice by

• Creating opportunities for artists to share their work with the public in a neighbourhood setting.

• Developing open studios, events, exhibitions, workshops and similar activities.

• Aiming to achieve the highest standards of artwork, practice and presentation.

• Working inclusively in partnership, sharing responsibilities and benefits for those involved.
