Research and Development of using Photographic images on to Ceramic forms. Started in 1994 using liquid light emulsion and body casts from the 'Birthdays' body of work. ( work included in Paul Scott's book 'Ceramics and Print (1st ed, Pub. A&C Blacks)) Currently developing new forms and using gum-bicromate method to fix Photographic images. ' The need to find a more permenant solution to ensure that the images are an intrical part of the finished work lead me to explore gum-bicromate, It doesen't sit on the surface like decals and offers more possiblilites as it is under/part of the glaze structure.'
