Easier Living

Having lived in a large detached house for several years, I am now coming round to the way of thinking that an apartment might simply be better for many reasons.

Firstly it can be much safer, especially if you are away for long periods and have to leave your house unattended. It is relatively easy to break into a house with no near neighbours, whereas an apartment is likely to have more security features such as a concierge or security guards Nottingham.

Secondly, the maintenance of an apartment is much easier and takes up far less of your time. What is the use of having a huge garden if you never get to enjoy it, as you spend all your time cutting hedges and mowing? Surely it is better to have an apartment with a lovely south facing balcony where you can tend a few plants in pots and have regular barbecues with friends and family?

Many apartments have syndicates which look after the exterior of the building, so you simply pay a charge each month, usually quite reasonable, and in return you do not have to do any maintenance work yourself on the apartment – what could be simpler?

For downsizing or retirement an apartment can be better for so many reasons, leaving you time to enjoy yourself instead of having to spend your whole life looking after it.
